Beginning Set Design
Grades 9th-12th and Adults Ages 18+ (1 week, evenings) Tuition: $125, plus a $20 fee for design kit* Dates: Monday-Friday, January 11th-15th - 7:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Location: Online* Instructor: Nicole Trantum Description: With artistry, a little math, and the imagination, this class will encompass the process of a scenic designer and the basics on how to start drafting a set. We will learn the basics of scenic design such as scale rule, thumbnails and model building. Come learn the inside of designing a theatrical set and the overall work that goes into being a scenic designer. *Class supplies will be available for pick up by appointment only at Lakewood Playhouse the week prior to the first day of class.
